Conversion of fractions into decimals when the denominator is a multiple of 10 :

  • To convert a fraction whose denominator is a multiple of 10 , first write the numerator . Then place the decimal point starting from extreme right before as many digits as the number of zeros after 1 in the denominator .

Thus , the decimal representation of the given fraction is : 29091000=2.909 .
