The correct option is A αβ=β1
We know that,

for common base configuration, current gain,
α=ICIE

for common emitter configuration, current gain,
γ=ICIB

for common collector configuration, current gain,
β=IEIB

Also,IE=IB+IC

IEIC=IBIC+1

1α=1γ+1

γ=α1α(1)

Again,IE=IB+IC

IEIB=1+ICIB

β=1+γ(2)

From (1) and (2),

β=11α

αβ=β1

Hence, option (B) is correct.
