Given:

Mike has 6 cookies

Cory has 6 times as many cookies as Mike has.

Therefore, Total number of cookies Cory has =6×6=36

Judy has half cookies as many as Cory has

Therefore, Total number of cookies Judy has=362=18

Phil has half cookies as many as Judy has

Hence, the total number of cookies Phil has =182=9.
