Let cosxp= sinxq= k so sinx = kq and cosx = pk tanx = qp and hence sinx = qp2+q2 : cosx=pp2+q2 Now, psec2x+qcosec2x=pcos2x+qsin2x = p2cos2x-1+2qsinxcosx= p2×p2p2+q2-1+2pq2p2+q2=pp2-q2+2q2p2+q2=pp2+q2p2+q2= p
