Solution

The correct option is A

20 rupees

Let the cost of 1 orange be 'x'

Cost of 1 mango = 3x.

Rishikesh bought 4 mangoes and 4 oranges.

Cost of 4 oranges = 4 × x = 4x.

Cost of 4 mangoes = 4 ×(3x)=12x

(Cost of 4 oranges) + (Cost of 4 mangoes)

= 4x + 12x

= 16x

It is given that 16x = 320

16x = 320

x=32016x=20

Cost of 1 orange = x = 20 Rupees.
