One mole of sugar is a mass=atomic mass
Atomic mass of sugar=342 gram.

Rate of 1 kg is 40 Rs .

So rate of 342 gram will be $fraction numerator 40 cross times 342 over denominator 1000 end fraction$ =13.68 Rupees.
