Solution

The correct option is B Cells D and E, cells F and G

Cell A is a parent cell in which reductional division (meiosis) is occurring. In meiosis I, the homologous chromosomes separate, while sister chromatids remain associated at their centromeres (FORMATION OF CELL B and C).

In meiosis II splitting of the centromere of each chromosome (which was holding the sister chromatids together), allowing them to move toward opposite poles of the cell by shortening of microtubules attached to kinetochores. (FORMATION OF CELLS D, E, F and G)

D and E will have sister chromatids of same chromosome and another chromosome's chromatids will be present in E & F. Thus, D & E will be genetically identical and so E and F will.

Hence, option C is correct.
