The correct option is C 2 : 10 pm
David's watch gains 12 minutes a day.
So by Wednesday 6:10 am the clock has gained $12 \times 3 = 36$ minutes
In 24 hours it gains 12 minutes
Therefore, in one hour it gains $12 \div 24 = 0.5$ min
From 6:10 am to 2:10 am there are 8 hours and the clock gains $8 \times 0.5 = 4$ minutes
Total gained is $36 + 4 = 40$ minutes
The correct times will be $40$ minutes less than $2 : 50$ pm i.e. $2 : 10$ pm
