Solution

Given that,
C.P. of one shirt =Rs. 1200
Profit %=5%,

We know that, S.P.=100+profit%100×C.P.

Hence, S.P.=100+5100×1200

=105100×1200

=Rs. 1260

Also, a customer has to pay 4% sales tax.

Hence, Net price =S.P.+ Sales tax on S.P.

=1260+4100×1260

=1260+50.40

=Rs. 1310.40

Hence, one shirt will cost Rs. 1310.40 to a customer.
