• It is used as an herbicide, it acts by inhibiting the geranylgeranyl pyrophosphate (GGPP) which occurs in the gibberellin pathway.

• It is most effective for broadleaf and grass weed control in crops like sorghum, cotton, soybean, and peanuts.
