Part 1:
Antibodies:

  1. The chemical released by the body in response to the invasion of foreign microbes which may cause disease is called antibodies.
  2. Example- WBCs

Antibiotics:

  1. Certain microbes produce a chemical which kills other disease causing organisms called antibiotics.
  2. These medicines either kill or stop the growth of disease – causing microorganisms by weakening their cell wall.
  3. Examples- Penicillin, tetracycline

Part 2:

Precautions while taking antibiotics-

  1. Always consult a doctor before taking any antibiotics.
  2. The course of antibiotics prescribed should be completed.
  3. Right amount and time should be there to take antibiotics as any inappropriate dose either has no effect or side effect.
