Atrial natriuretic factor (ANF) regulates the kidney function by opposing the regulation by Renin-Angiotensinogen Aldosterone system (RAR's) atrial Natriuretic factor is released by the wall of the atria of the heart in response to an increase in blood pressure and volume. ANF inhibit the release of renin from JGA, this results is the inhibition of the Na+ reabsorption by the collecting duct, which is return reduces the aldosterone release from adrenal gland. It also increase the Na+ excretion in urine.
