Open in App
Solution

Dear student,
The boiling point of a liquid is the temperature at which the vapor pressure of a liquid just equals to the pressure exerted on liquid, the atmospheric pressure. At an atmospheric pressure of exactly 1 atm, the temperature at which liquid boils is called the normal boiling point. The normal boiling point of water is 100-degree Celsius.
