Define: Diffusion
Diffusion: The intermixing of particles of two different substances on their own.
Example: The particles of ink intermix on their own with the particles of water.
The particles of ink get into the spaces between the particles of water. this intermixing is called diffusion.
Solid: They have negligible diffusion because of tightly packed particles
Liquid: The particles in liquids can move around each other, which means that eventually, they are evenly mixed.
Gas: They possess maximum diffusion due to their fluid nature.
