Solution

Dear student,
Meristematic tissues are formed from group of cells which are undifferentiated and has the tendency of division.
The cells of meristematic tissues have the capacity of division and is responsible for the growth of plants. They form differentiated tissue after repeated mitotic division which performs specific function.
The process is called differentiation. Differentiation is the process of maturation of cells by continuous division to perform specific functions and they loose their capacity to divide after differentiation.
