Nerve cells are present in all these organs of the nervous system this help to transmit impulses or messages from one part of the body to other parts. they are in a thread like a shape is an adaptation for Neurons or Nerve cells to carry impulses or messages for long distances. It has star-shaped body and nucleus surrounded around. Due to lack of Centrosome in the neuron, nerve cells lose the ability to divide and replicate.
