• Amoeba consists of small finger-like projections known as pseudopodia with which they move towards their food. They use pseudopodia to capture and engulf the food. (1 mark)
• It forms a vacuole with the food known as food vacuole which is temporary. (1 mark)
• The digestive juices are released in the vacuole and the food is digested and the nutrition is absorbed.
• After absorption, the Amoeba excretes the waste out of its body. (1 mark)
