Antibiotics:
Antibiotics are antimicrobial drugs obtained from other organisms, such as moulds, fungus, and some soil bacteria to combat harmful microorganisms.
These are the chemical substances that are used to kill the microorganism which entered in our body.
The first antibiotic was made by Alexander Fleming and named Penicillin.
Penicillin was obtained from a fungus called Penicillin notatum.
These antimicrobial drugs are not useful against viral disease.
For example, Penicillin, Quinolones, Tetracyclines, Macrolides, etc.
