(a) Budding: - Budding is a form of asexual reproduction in which a new organism develops from an outgrowth or bud due to cell division at one particular site. e.g. New individuals develop from the buds in hydra; this type of asexual reproduction is called budding.
(b) Binary fission: - Prokaryotic fission, which is binary fission, is a form of asexual reproduction and cell division used by all prokaryotes (bacteria and archaebacteria) and some organelles within eukaryotic organisms (e.g., mitochondria).
