$m=\frac{-v}{u}$

4. If $Ifm>1,$, the Image size is greater than that of the object and if $m<1,$the image size is less than the object size.

5. If magnification is negative, the image formed is real and inverted.

6. If magnification is positive, the image formed is virtual and erect.
