  2. It is the product of the mass of the body and acceleration due to gravity
  3. It is the measure of the force of gravity acting on a body.
  4. The formula for weight is given by: W=mg(Newton)
  5. As weight is a force its SI unit is also the same as that of force, the SI unit of weight is Newton (N).
