  2. Definition of true solution: It is a homogeneous mixture that contains small solute particles that are dissolved throughout the solvent.
  3. In a true solution, the solute particles are mixed so well that we cannot distinguish one from the other. A true solution is also known as a molecular solution because the size of dissolved particles in such a solution is the same as that of a molecule.

Examples of true solutions:

  1. A solution of sugar in water is solid in a liquid solution. In this solution, sugar is the solute and water is the solvent.
