Given, in $Δ A B C$ , AC = BC.
$\Rightarrow ∠ B = ∠ C$
[In a triangle, the angles opposite to equal sides are equal ]
$\Rightarrow$ x - 3 = y - 7
$\Rightarrow$ x - y = 3 - 7
$∴$ x - y = - 4
