Rate of diffusion is different for different gases and it depends upon the weight of the gas. Light gases diffuse faster than heavy gases. Similarly liquids diffuse slowly than the gases because particles of liquid move slowly.
Diffusion of Oxygen and nitrogen is faster than diffusion of water and milk.
