Describe the achievements of Alexander.

Alexander was the king of Macedonia. He established his authority over all the Greek city-states. In his shortlived life, he set out to conquer the whole world. He attacked Persia and defeated it. Then he advanced towards India and conquered the northwestern regions of India. While returning from India he died in Babylonia in 323 B.C.
