Solution

The uterus is the major secondary sex organ of the reproductive system of females. On one end it is connected to the fallopian tubes and on the other to the cervix which opens into the vagina. It has three regions- fundus, corpus, and the cervix. It has three layers- inner endometrium, middle myometrium, and outer perimetrium. It is often referred to as the womb as it carries the fetus during pregnancy.
