Velocity of object, v0=10cos 37^i+10sin 37 ^j=8^i+6^j

In the direction normal to the mirror,

|Relative velocity of image with respect to mirror| = |Relative velocity of object with respect to mirror|

(i.e) vixvm=(voxvm)

vix=2vmvox

From the data given in the question,

vm=0^i m/s , vox=8^i m/s

vix=8^i m/s

In the direction parallel to the surface of the mirror,

Along Y direction, voy=viy

viy=6^j

Therefore, velocity of image vi=vix+viy

v=8^i+6^j
