Total number of students in the class =5
Fraction of Apple received by each student =13
Total number of apples received by students =5×13
=5×13
=53 apples

Number of apples teacher had =4

Total number of apples in the class= Total number of apples received by students + Number of apples teacher had

=53+4=53+4×33

=53+123=5+123=173
