  2. The symptoms of this disorder are excessive production of urine due to non-reabsorption of water.

Anti diuretic hormone (ADH):

  1. Diabetes insipidus is caused due to low secretion of ADH or Vasopressin.
  2. Vasopressin is secreted from the posterior part of the hypothalamus.
