Solution

Solution-

  • It is a homogeneous mixture of solute and solvent.
  • Solution = solute + solvent

Types of solutions:

  • Saturated solution - It is a solution in which a maximum amount of solute can be dissolved.
  • Unsaturated solution - It is a solution in which less amount of solute is dissolved.
  • Supersaturated solution - It is a solution in which a large amount of solute can be dissolved and undissolved remain at the bottom.

1. The type of solution shown in glass A, B and C are as follows:

  • In glass A- Unsaturated solution
  • in glass B- Saturated solution
  • In glass C- Supersaturated solution

2. If class C is heated then its solubility increases and extra solute will be able to dissolve in the solution.
