Solution
Dialysis Fluid:
Dialysis fluid is a special fluid used in the process of haemodialysis.
It is also called Dialysate.
Nitrogenous wastes:
Wastes are produced from bodily metabolism, e.g., urea, uric acid, creatinine etc and are filtered out by the kidney.
Dialysis is carried out in conditions like renal/kidney failure.
Dialysis fluid does not contain nitrogenous wastes, but the blood being purified contains nitrogenous wastes. This forms a concentration gradient across the membrane and as a result nitrogenous wastes from blood diffuse out in dialysis fluid.
Final answer: Dialysis fluid contains all the constituents as in plasma except Nitrogenous wastes.
