Difference b/w germ cell, egg cell, sperms and gamets.

Dear student,

Germ cell - A haploid, reproductive male and female gamete which have an ability to unite together is called germ cell.
Egg cell - It is a female reproductive, haploid cell also known as ovum which is got fertilised by male reproductive cell(sperm).
Sperms - These are the male reproductive cells which fertilise the female reproductive cells.
Gametes - Gametes and germ cells are having similar meaning i.e., a haploid, reproductive male and female gamete which have an ability to unite together and forms a new individual.
