Osmosis Diffusion
It is the movement of water particles. It is the movement of solute particle.
Occurs through a semi permeable membrane. Membrane is not required.
Movement from low concentration to high concentration of solute. Movement from high concentration to low concentration of solute..
It is associated with liquids. It is associated with solids, liquid and gases.
It occurs to short distances. It can occur to long distances.

ii).
Plant cell wall is made up of cellulose and is rigid while animals cells do not possess cell wall. Animal cells have only cell membrane.
