Difference between dicot stem and dicot root in the bases of their vascular bundles.

In dicot stem the epidermal multicellular stem hairs are present, cortex is well differentiated. Vascular bundles are present in concentric circle and are arranged in a ring, they are conjoint, collateral, open and endarch.

The dicot roots are tap roots. The outer layer is epidermis the cells of epidermis protrude as root hairs and the innermost layer is endodermis. The tissues present on the inner side of the endodermis such as pericycle, vascular bundles and pith constitute the stele.In dicot roots vascular bundles are radially arranged.
