Cactus is a desert plant which is adapted to conserve water in hot desert conditions. Tape grass is an aquatic plant .
Leaves of cactus are modified to form spines.Tape grass has thin narrow leaves which do not break off.
The leaves of the cactus are adapted in such a way that it prevents the loss of water through transpiration.The leaves of the tape grass are I am in such a way that they can absorb dissolved gases from the water.
