Differentiate between dedifferentiation and redifferentiation.

The cells that have lost the capacity to divide may regain the capacity due to certain specific conditions. This concept is termed asdedifferentiation. For example fully differentiated parenchyma cells may give rise to cork cambium.

In the process of dedifferentiation sometimes the cells may lose the capacity of division and becomes mature. This phenomenon is known asredifferentiation.
