Differentiate between myelinated and non-myelinated fibres.
Myelinated fibres:
Myelinated fibres are the nerve fibres that are covered by a myelin sheath and act as an insulating, protective sheath located between neurilemma and axon.
Non-myelinated fibres:
The nerve fibres without myelin sheath are called non-myelinated fibres.

3. Myelin sheath prevents the loss of the impulse during conduction. | 3. These can lose the nerve impulse during conduction. |
