Compact bone
It is a very porous type of bone that is highly vascularized and forms the ends of long bones called epiphysis.
Compact bone is a very hard and dense bone that forms the cortex of most bones in the body. It is composed of Haversian canals surrounded by matrix.
Bone marrow is red in color and produces red blood corpuscles.
Bone marrow is yellow in color and stores fat.
