Pollen grains are sticky, and stamens are usually placed deep inside the flower (do not hang out loosely). Pollen grains are light and non-sticky. Stamens are well exposed Pollen grains are released inside water, they are long, ribbon-like, having a mucilaginous covering.
Flowers are showy, fragrant, colourful and produce nectar. Flowers not very colourful and don't produce nectar. Flowers not very colourful and don't produce nectar.
Stigma is also deep seated. Stigma is feathery Female flowers have long stalk and reach surface of water to capture pollen grains.
Eg. Sunflower, rose etc. Eg- In grasses Eg. Vallisneria, Hydrilla
