The brain is a highly developed part of the nervous system that consists of mainly three parts- The forebrain, Midbrain, and Hindbrain.

Forebrain Hindbrain
1. The forebrain forms the greater part of the brain.1. The hindbrain is a part of the brain that resembles a spinal cord extension and is placed at the back of the skull.
2. It consists of the cerebrum, cerebral lobes and diencephalon.2. The hindbrain consists of the cerebellum, pons and medulla oblongata.
