Translatory and circulatory motion
Translatory motion | Circulatory motion |
1- In a translatory motion all the particles of a body move in a straight line. | 1- In a circular motion all the particles of a body move along the circumference of a circle. |
2- On translatory motion, whether in a straight line or a curved path, all particles cover the same distance. | 2- The distance travelled by all particles in a circular motion varies depending on their distance from the circle's centre. |
