Solution

The correct option is D CHCl3,H2O,CO2,Cl2
CHCl3+O2H2O+CO2+Cl2
A is CHCl3, X is H2O, Y is CO2 and Z is Cl2.
Chloroform(CHCl3) is a pure covalent compound and the chlorine atoms are covalently bonded with the Carbon atoms so, they can not ionize in the AgNO3 solution to form the precipitate of silver chloride. A mixture containing 70% of CHCl3 and 30% of ether is used as an anaesthetic.
Both anhydrous copper sulfate paper and anhydrous (blue) cobalt chloride paper can test for liquid or vaporous water. The copper sulfate paper goes from white to blue. And the cobalt chloride paper goes from blue to pink. In both cases the color change is due to the compounds in the paper combining with water molecules to make a hydrate. CO2 turns lime water milky and produces an acidic solution with water.
CaO+CO2CaCO3
CaCO3 is milky in appearance.
H2O+CO2H2CO3
H2CO3 is a weak acid.
Cl is pungent smelling gas.
