Salivary Glands Gastric glands
These glands are located just outside the buccal cavity. These glands are present in the stomach, formed by the mucosal lining of the alimentary canal.
Secretion of salivary gland is known as Saliva which contains enzyme salivary amylase, many electrolytes etc These glands secrete -Mucous neck cells, chief cells , Parietal cells & lipases.
It keep the pH of buccal cavity slightly alkaline It keeps the pH of stomach slightly acidic.
