Vermicompost: When earthworms are used in the process of decomposition, it is known as vermicomposting and organic matter obtained is known as vermicompost.

Green Manure: Plants such as sun hemp are particularly grown to mix with soil which leads to the addition of organic matter to the soil after getting decomposed. These plants are known as green manure.
