Blood Cells:

  1. Primarily, there are two types of blood cells- White Blood Cells(WBC) and Red Blood Cells(RBC).
  2. RBCs- biconcave enucleated cells, rich in haemoglobin (iron-rich protein).
  3. Their primary function is to transport oxygen to and from various tissues and organs.
  4. WBCs are colourless cells that mainly help in fighting against infections.
  5. Mature RBCs do not have a nucleus or DNA.
