Yes, I agree that ‘Painting’ was part of Mughal culture. There are many examples that may substantiate this statement such as:
  1. Mughal Painting witnessed its evolution during Humayun’s time. Mir Sayyed Ali and Abdus Samad of Persia were some of the important painters during his time who created numerous canvases.
  2. In fact, Akbar’s court was also adorned by famous painters such as Daswant, Basavan, Lal Jaganath and Mukunda.
  3. Same was true for Jehangir whose court painters included Ustad Mansoor and Abdul Hassan.
