These are same because both involves the division of governmental powers between the federal government and the individual state governments which is seen in the federal structure of Indian governenece.Power sharing is meant to avoid conflicts by distribution of power in a legal manner.
It makes administration to work smoothly.
It makes national integration possible.
It makes representation of each and every section possible in various spheres of governance.
