Does magnetic induction occur with AC current even if there is no motion between magnet and coil?

Yes, magnetic induction occurs when AC current flows through the coil. The value of AC current keeps on varying resulting in a varying magnetic field. If another coil is placed nearby, this varying magnetic field will result in an emf and induced current in that coil.
