Soil erosion defined as the washing or blowing away of the top soil due to water flow or strong winds.
The top soil is made up of macro nutrients and the important components required by the plant. When the top soil gets washed away, the important nutrients required by the plant also gets blown away. This is the major reason for soil erosion to happen.
