The correct option is A 3 cm
Construction- A circle with centre O and of radius =3 cm =OA is drawn.
At O a 60o angle OAB is made.
OB intersect the cicumference at B.
m(AB)=3 cm.
Proof- In Δ AOB we have OA=OB (radii of the sme circle).
So Δ AOB is isosceles. i.e OAB=OBA
OAB+OBA=2OAB or 2OBA.
By angle sum propety of triangles, we have AOB+OAB+OBA=AOB+2OAB=180o
60o+2OAB=180o
OAB=60o=OBA.
Δ AOB is equlateral.
So AB=OA=OB=3 cm
