The correct option is A3 cm Construction- A circle with centre O and of radius =3 cm =OA is drawn.
At O a 60o angle OAB is made.
OB intersect the cicumference at B.
m(AB)=3 cm.
Proof- In Δ AOB we have OA=OB (radii of the sme circle).
So Δ AOB is isosceles. i.e ∠OAB=∠OBA
⟹∠OAB+∠OBA=2∠OAB or 2∠OBA.
∴ By angle sum propety of triangles, we have ∠AOB+∠OAB+∠OBA=∠AOB+2∠OAB=180o
